That's exactly what I've been saying. If anything, game management has hurt us more as even in the past seasons we let leads slip. Thinking of the 2-2 draw against both West Ham and Liverpool in the season before last and even this past game against Villa. 6 of our 8 draws this season came from us dropping points from winning positions. We've also scored more goals in the last 2 seasons as Arsenal than we have in the other 18 previous seasons before it. So to say the reason Arsenal is letting 2 goals leads slip is because we don't have a striker to make sure we score an unassailable 4 goals every game is silly. But fans have hung onto this bandwagon for dear life.

I think game management as well as other factors have been our problem this season. Injuries to key players at crucial moments have not helped. There's also the issue of red cards (whether justly or unjustly). We also struggle with creativity sometimes especially against low blocks. People that say a top striker will be the solution to all our problems forget that the team above us does not any recognizable top striker and the ones that have top strikers are all below us on the table. Food for thought.

Henry is right. In 2024 Arsenal scored the most Premier League goals and won the most points. The narrative Arsenal can't score goals is lazy journalism and BS. It is a lie. This season big injuries have hurt Arsenal up front, Saka and Jesus out for the season. But Arsenal are only 6 points behind Liverpool and are third in the Champions League group. If there was a TH14 or DB10 available I'm sure we would buy them!

This is loser talk. We are no where near good enough right now, nowhere near. We miss so many chances. We need proper strikers and a RW and AM and LCM. These are squad deceives becuase of Arteta stupidity in yje transfer market and his gross failure with signing attacking players. First off he has signed 24 of 30 defensive players. All his attacking players except Odegaard and Trossard have flopped. I would also argue both of these need upgrading. William Fabio Jesus Havertz Sterling These signings are all massive flips and will never win us anything. Arteya is failing as a head manager heciade ue cannot identify wjat he needs so we always fall short. It's no linger good enough

Well said Thierry. All the negatives about Arsenal not having a striker and not scoring goals is just fantasy. Only Liverpool has scored more goals over the 12 months up to December (+3 more) and because of injuries and some missed chances people start making wild statements and overlook the facts, whether intentionally or ignorantly. Yes, a top striker, Saka and Odegaard back ups or even a right back would bolster the squad but it is certainly not the disastrous situation as some try to portray and far from it...

Arsenal aren't struggling to score goals, they're struggling to score KEY goals. Like winning 3-2 against Aston Villa, or 2-1 against Brighton, or scoring 1 against Newcastle to give them a chance at the second leg, or beating united 2-1. This is their biggest problem and this is why they'll fail to beat teams in the UCL knockout stages.
