The half-tracks from Das Werk are growing up - after the smaller Sd.Kfz. 250 is now the bigger brother Sd.Kfz. 251 in the pioneer version. Actually a 2-in-1 kit with MG or 2.8 cm anti-tank rifle, but if you listen carefully to Christian when he looks into the box, you will learn more.

Also da ich schon so die Marktverfügbaren Hauptvarianten hab und ich noch einige 251er brauche. Für Umbauten in nicht Marktverfügbaren Varianten auf jedenfall gut zu gebrauchen 👍 Und die Schwere Panzerbüchse kann man auch einzeln bauen, weil alles dabei ist. Top gemacht MBK 👍👍👍

Sehr schön, dass der Spritzling der 2,8cm vollständig geblieben ist, wodurch man sie schön auf der lafette bauen kann wenn sie nicht im 251 gebraucht wird. Mache das auch so bei meinem anderen Dragon 251 :) Schon allein wegen dem Boxart muss ich mir 2 davon bestellen!

Ums kurz zusammen zu fassen. Der Bausatz ist eine stark abgespeckte Form von Dragons 251/7 - Kit Nr. 6223 aus dem Jahre 2005.

Völlig richtig. Und der ist bezüglich Zubehör unschlagbar. Ich frage mich eh, warum NOCH ein /7, solange es weder einen /8, noch einen /14 als Bausatz gibt.

@@ModellbauKoenig_MBK Zumindest gibt es Fotos von unterschiedlichen /14 Versionen. Jedenfalls wird angenommen, dass es /14 sind. Inwieweit man daraus ein Modell machen kann, kann ich natürlich nicht beurteilen.

@@ModellbauKoenig_MBK Zugegeben ein /14 wäre tatsächlich nicht einfach. Womöglich auch nicht attraktiv .Aber im Ernst, wie wäre es mit einem /8 und einem /18. So etwas fehlt auf dem Markt. Nichtsdestotrotz , immer wieder tolle Vorstellungen.

This is very exciting news! I am impressed with the workable track, and I will encourage Das Werk to consider selling the workable track alone in a kit, because it would be a fantastic upgrade to many 251 kits that are available! Furthermore, it looks like the parts are expertly molded, the level of detail is impressive, and it is wonderful that there are options for several versions. IMHO, Das Werk deserves to be congratulated for correcting & improving the original Dragon instructions! 👍👍. My only disappointments are (a) Das Werk neglected to correct a major error with the running gear that the original Dragon kit had. FYI, the teeth on the drive sprocket should not be aligned with the radial strengthening 'arms' on the outside face of the drive sprocket. The teeth should be offset from the radial 'arms', as they are in the AFV Club kits. To learn more about this, Terry Ashley from the Perth Military Modelling Site has a number of very detailed reviews of Dragon's & AFV Club's Sd. Kfz. 251 kits. (b) I would have liked to see more photo-etch, especially for the shields of the MG42 & 2.8cm anti-tank rifle. (c) A driver figure would have been a nice addition. Nevertheless, I am looking forward to purchasing and building this kit! 👍

I think Das Werk is going the least line and like Zvezda, he buys molds and only tweaks them a little instead of going his own way and doing his own designs as they did in the beginning, which were very good. Now the quality has dropped and it shows. Pity.

Thank you for your answer and your feedback, I think there must be a fundamental distinction here. If we market kits from other companies, we can't change the moulds or make or add other moilds, that wouldn't be possible in terms of costs. What we are presenting here are kits that have not been available for purchase for years. The goal is to have these kits available to everyone at an attractive price. We are well aware of various errors, but we also know that these errors bother less than 1% of model builders. All our kits was sold out in a few weeks, so we had to produce a new run. Most customers want a great model that is readily available and easy to assemble. But what we can do is correct the mistakes in the instructions or on the decal sheet. We will also have our own kits again, but we always have to have the money for such very expensive models, which we earn with these kits, among other things. I hope I was able to shed some light on what I said

Kann mir mal hemand erklaren warum "das Werk" als Logo eines gewahlt hat welches dem der Organisation Todt sehr sehr sehr ähnlich sieht bis auf das eindeutige T ? Ist da vielleicht "unbeabsichtigt" ein Fehler unterlaufen oder ist die stilistische Ähnlichkeit bewusst so gewählt worden ? Kann ja Geünde haben die sich mir nicht erschließen.

Ich habe das Fahrzeug von Dragon, ich meine da waren noch Figuren bei. Ist aber schon einige Zeit her. Ich muß aber sagen dieses Fahrzeug gefällt mir besser allein schon von den Ketten und der Panzerbüchse her und von den Details her.

Are these Zvezda or Ark frames? Amazing big points after injection. A terrible job for cutting and grinding.
