This is a Wifi Direct setup tutorial, you can connect your smart phone directly to the printer and enable printing from your phone. P.S. without connecting the printer with the wifi router.

I think in every printer the one is chose is the air print option , right below it there is another one “PRINT” that is the one for canon printers .no need for app

Hi, I just set up the printer as per your video for the initial set up for the g3411, I didn't connect to windows pc, I wanted to connect my phone with my printer so I clicked the 'direct' button, the power button is flashing but the two signs are not rotating, they are parallel to each other and are not moving at all, please help me, thanks

The wifi sign (not wifi direct, but the one that allows it connect to my router) has an "x" mark on it. How do i connect the printer to a router with password especially where I had already setup the printer to do only wifi direct? Thank you.

Use wps method if your router has wps button

Password not printing

Maybe due to ink cartridge dry, Serial number is the password for wifi direct. YOu can find it back side of the printer.

Be Careful. Canon is cheating in these. It appears as if it is cheap printing, but they set a hidden limit, which in the end renders the printer useless after you reach relatively a moderate number of printing. So, it's another scam from Canon, unfortunately. Check other printers for longer printer-life.

This is the shittiest printer I ever had. It doesn't feed paper, skip pages, cleans head before every print (and doesnt clean in standby, as brother do )
