disassemble the top cover and then you will find the output bin sensor, try to clean it and check.

The lines appear due to toners, faded print due to laser unit.

I did everything you suggested and my printer worked for one day. The following day it went back to the same error message. I do recall that I did not use the W-D40 when I cleaned it instead I used an alcohols spray that probably dried the rubber. DO you think it has to be a oil based spray so that it brings some moisture back to the rubber band? or what other suggestions do you have. I will take the part home and use the W-D40, bring the part back and install. Do you think this will dry it up and cause the same problem? Thank you!

Wd40 is a basically oil based lubricant.
