Well he was never gonna do anything that prioritizes tact, feelings or verbal communication, so that thins out the potential career paths pretty quickly. And we know from his stats that he's a much better student than you would expect from his demeanour. What with his gifts for analysis and pretending to know what the fuck he's doing, academia kind of seems like a good fit for him. Frankly I'm just surprised he didn't end up studying wolves in the Arctic.
