It was a bit of both in my case. They were a lot more careful about me so when I was younger I was babied a bit, but they gave less and less fucks as my other two siblings came around. But on the flip side, this means they also got away with more, and my parents were a lot more lenient.

Conversely, I was more than 10 years older. At the age of 13 I was babysitting a toddler, and by 15-16 I was staying home alone with her (who was like 4) overnight. My sister is over the age of 18 now (still in high school, but legally an adult) and my parents still ask me to come watch her when they go on vacation. I’m married and nearly 30. My parents need to chill lol.

I've never related to Griffen more lol. As the youngest of 11, my mom has told me repeatedly that I'll "always be the baby" (I'm 22) and I've been told by my siblings I've been spoiled my whole life lmao. Parenting seems to go 2 ways: the oldest gets neglected because they take for granted they can take care of themselves as they fret over the younger siblings. OR the eldest gets all the attention and the rest get neglected because they are burned out and have no energy left. There seems to be no happy medium of just like idk treating your children equally

I couldn't distinguish Justin and Travis' voices for like... a good few months when I started listening to them. My suggestion now is to watch spinoff shows with just one or two of them (Monster Factory, Sawbones, Shmanners, etc) to get a feel for each person without the noise of the others.
