I'm glad they clarified they were out of jokes this episode, because sometimes I stare at my podcast machine for hours after an episode ends just hoping they'll make one more goof

I gotta say, I love that Count Donut isn't relegated to spooky season already, because donut companies are monsters year 'round.

Sitting here, listening to the jigsaw puzzle debate as I chip away at a digital jigsaw puzzle, because I am that kind of nerd. I will say this, though - I honestly really like jigsaw puzzles of works of art - You are forced to look at all the little details as you solve it, so it does help you appreciate the intricacy of the art. One of my favourite digital puzzles I've done was Bosch's Garden of Earthly Delights, which is loaded with all sorts of details.

throwback to 2018 when I would cry a little when listening to the brothers because I wished they were my dad. Not any brother in particular, just all of them, an dadmalgam if you will

Missing the first 20 minutes of a movie because your older brother let you hit his weed pen going in is such a high school experience, so funny to me that happened like a year ago

One of my favourite hobbies is sending my friends people who look like Griffin McElroy. Most recent contender was one of the chefs in the game Overcooked. One of the other chefs was an orange cat, so it was Griffin McElroy and Garfield trying to cook under very difficult conditions.

Also, there is literally a Stary Night Lego set. Like, any other famous piece of work would have been fine for the bit. But you can actually buy Stary Night as an official lego set.

I was doing a puzzle on an app on my phone during this entire episode and I also do a lot of Legos to see if we have all the pieces so I can sell the ones we don't want to keep (we have a lot). I do puzzles when Legos are available mainly because the puzzles are on my phone and I'm already making a huge mess with the half finished Lego sets and I have no space left on surfaces in my house

its so delightful being a teacher of young kids, and listen to the mcelroys who are fathers to young kids, because when I hear shit like "dannyGo" I feel like someone has mentioned a niche internet celebrity. that weird adulthood mind space of not understanding the hype around what your kids like to watch

This is a hot take that makes people yell at me constantly, but I will stand by it. *Nobody* would have given a shit about The Crow if Brandon Lee hadn't died on set. That is the only reason anybody even remembers that movie exists
