1. 14-year-old me was left home alone to clean the fridge, which entailed removing all the shelves 2. i wanted to see if i could fit, so i crawled inside 3. the door closed and latched 4. the light turned off 5. the latch was inside of the groove for one of the shelves 6. i couldnt find it and spent several minutes panicking and yelling before deciding to conserve oxygen 7. my dog heard me yelling, realized i was in the fridge, and started howling 8. neighbors heard the dog howling, came over to check, heard me yelling, and got in using the spare key 9. they let me out and i was so fucking embarrassed and begged them not to tell my parents (who still don't know)
