What was the stability like after you turned the rear up to 44 degrees? That rear has a huge impact so I’m curious. I’m having the godster build me a board and it might have these trucks!

Oh nice! 44 still has amazing stability but more carve ride feel on it as well!

Great video as always Drew! Wider trucks typically means more stability at the expense of manuverability. Would you say these trucks turn just as well as narrower trucks?

Thanks for checking out the video! So RKP has a great turning radius and especially if you adjust the trucks split angle to 55°up front and 44° in the rear you’re getting a very nice carve machine. The stock 44/33 is more locked in and definitely has some nice carves but if you’re looking for deeper carves the 55/44 set up will give you one of the best turning radius, plus the riptide bushings will also help as well

So with the interstellar it’s a perfect overall around board in my opinion. Plenty of power from the 12s and you can gear it up to hit higher speeds if you need to! but with the Nomad you’re entering a new category. 14s is more power, 90amp esc is torque off the line with that gear drive. It’s just an overall beast of a board. Some people don’t like how powerful it is, I love that thrust off the line! Both are great boards at what they are, the interstellar could be upgraded even to larger motors, more powerful ESC and you can swap out other parts which is great! The Nomad is a rocket just simply put a rocket. New season is coming up and I’m excited to see what comes out from these companies! I hope that helps you out a little!

*I freakin Love split angles!* 🤟🏽⚡️⚡️🤟🏽 If I built a DIY I'd definately consider goin with these trucks. I love options, you really get to dial it in to how you like! I'd rock 44 in the back and experiment with front 50 or just over 50. Best of both carve/lean and stability. Awesome carvin, dope video 🤙🏽

I haven’t yet! Still 55/33 but I want to go to 44 my only thing is potentially rubbing on the wide deck with the nova at that point. It’s a worth while test though!

I think the design is more like a DIY product for a nieche audience rather then a more "consumer" looking product for a more broad audience.

It’s all personal preference, but the ability to swap angles and have nice wide trucks works for me. Knowing they are CNC in house makes me know that they are quality control as well. Design choice is in the eye of the beholder, I said it in the review raw aluminum may not be everyone’s cup of tea but that’s personal preference.
