I disagree about the school part, education is important to amplify whatever your career or talent maybe, the only problem is the pretext in which school is defined in Zambia, like the guitar he had to learn it from someone or somewhere which is schooling, and maybe he should go to school to study music business so he can know how to market and sell his music, cause people do buy music not just in the old tradition we were used in the last decades

Not entirely true, today you can easily put your music on platforms like KZbin or spotify and get your earnings from your talent that way among other things.Yes, music schools can give you a push but talent is what takes you all the way. Never trust entirely on education, it's simply the basis for basic knowledge to navigate the society in which we live.

It would be ignorant of me to dispute your point entirely. On education,I believe everyone should have some level of education,I hope we can agree on that. The reality is indeed different from place to place. Were I stay, people in the music industry need mostly assistance financially in the beginning to get exposure. I know four friends right now who started their music career on internet and are now able to live on their talent. One of them want to a music school but the rest did not. Nothing is guaranteed in life, even with the right schools behind you. Success is not given. You have to fight for it. But I get were you are coming from, it's not always possible to compare two different realities. Sorry if I wasted you life by responding,but it's appreciated all the same.
