It is a heartbreaking song. There was romance in all the brokenness and poverty of the city back then. The lyric "sharing a can of corn" just does not have the poignancy in Wham's cover. Here, it does.

나의 최애곡은 Wham의 Where did your heart go 다. 1986년도에 처음 듣고 두고 두고 내가 제일 사랑하는 곡이었는데, 이 곡이 왬 원곡이 아니고 바로 이곡이라는 것은 한참 후에야 알게 되었다. 너무나 사랑했던 곡이기에 이 동영상도 매우 의미가 있기는 하지만 만약 이곡을 Geroge michael 목소리 전에 알게 됐더라면 거의 감흥이 없었을 것 같다. 즉 George 에 의해 다시 태어난 노래가 내게는 최고로 의미있고 사랑하는 곡.

This is a beautiful performance, but keep in mind, this was not the upbeat version Was ( Was Not) released, which did them no justice. And, I agree with 9tarko, the saxophonist steals the show here. Wham (let's be truthful, George Michael was Wham) released a much better version than Was (Was Not) released. Please don't bash a musical genius until you've listened to the true soulful, non-commercial non-pop music of George Michael. He wrote Careless Whisper at 17 which gave a glimpse of his true unsurpassed gift. He's up there with Bowie, Mercury, etc. If Frank Sinatra acknowledged his talent (which he did in a letter to George) nothing else needs to be said.
