Same here the only thing I miss on TV is watching GH and well few evening shows but there isn't many left to watch anyway maybe some NASCAR though I been so busy with my daily routine and few things I going through with things from e studies Bible time so I watch GH and some or many of the older shows on u tube and well the only reason I have FB is to keep up with my family and very close friends other wise I don't even do much FB and Instagram I really don't do and like Twitter I don't do cause of trump and those crazy mega's i had and possibly still have the account but i don't remember my password or even user name and it has an old cell phone number so I really can't change anything though I really don't want to well sorry for the rant here but Maurice I love yur show here cause it lets us viewer's get know the person acting for well most actors have a way different personality than the character(s ) they play /u all play u all so great work even though the writer's seem to make the characters seem so dumb or weak or both and then the changing history on many characters but well U all have a great night and coming week be safe Yahweh bless you all with 🙏 always to all I know and see 😊

Some things that helped me after my son died: The best way I could honor my son, was to live my life as full as possible. When I think of my son, I focus on the beautiful moments in his life, and not on the death. It was important to not give his death more meaning than his life. Don’t let their death become your story - it does their life a disservice. If my son was watching me, did I live my day in a way that would make him happy? Memorialize your child in a way or ways that would be meaningful to you. For me it was finding ways to help other children (collected $, toys, stuffed animals for various children’s organizations each Christmas). Find something that gets you up in the morning with a purpose. Something that would have made your child happy. You will forever miss them, but the love between mother and child is eternal. Your child is eternal. They are with you always. Talk to them. The love never goes away. ❤

Good God Maurice, u & Steve Burton saved me today, literally. 😢. I am aware of your podcast, but I just happened upon it today. Steve drew me in. I am so happy Jason is back. I am in a very dark place & u both, yr words really was everything I needed to hear to get me thru my different time. I have been watching GH since its inception. Seriously. I am 64 &1/2. Since I was a few years old everything stopped in our house when GH came on. Our live-in housekeeper, a wonderful black women in Detroit had 1 request from my mom. That she b allowed to watch GH. Our family was in the middle of a tragedy. My older sister had been burned over 80% of her body & fighting for her life. She lived & is very well today, turning 70 in July. Hence, our live in help. She was our angel. She raised me & my other 2 sisters while my parents were at the hospital. My sisters & I all gathered around the b&w tv & got involved in the drama that was GH. We learned that hospitals were a good place. They saved my older sisters life. I currently live in NJ now. My 36yr old son was diagnosed with bipolar 1 disorder when he was 20. I was familiar with that disorder because of you. My son had no mood issues while growing up. He became out of his mind manic after taking a friend's ADAH med's, Vyvanse. My son was always very mellow. He doesn't have adhd. I thought I prepared him for everything when he went to college. I never told him not to take someone else's meds in college. I didn't know that was a thing. This was 2008. When the Morgan Ava story line happened several years ago & Morgan died I stopped watching GH. I was so pissed off that that's how GH production decided to handle the very serious disorder that is bipolar disorder. I blamed u in particular because I knew u had it. The thought that my son could die was devastating to me. It was bad enough he was committed to 4 different hospitals & institutions. I didn't even recognize the thing that was possessing my son's body. I am a nurse. But not a psych nurse. It was months before we saw glimpses of my actual son. He had taken probably 20-30 Vyvanse pills over Labor Day weekend before he was to return to college in Vermont for his Junior year. My exhusband an addict stepped in & made me get a lawyer to get our son out & back home. My ex moved back in & we never left him alone. My ex remained sober & drug free during this time. Our son had just turned 20 so in the ER the first time he was diagnosed as bipolar in 5 minutes. In commitment he was given a bucket of pills. Finally at home he refused to take any meds. He literally layed in bed for a year. He lost all his friends, his memory of college, everything he had learned. Gone. Finally, after seeing about 15 Psychiatrists we found the right one for him at Princeton University. His intake process was 3 hours not 5 minutes. Slowly he got my son to take medication. It took years to find the right one. In 2019 my son attempted to hang himself. He used a bungee cord & it stretched just enough to give him a few seconds to choose life. He was not manic. He was on the wrong med. He was hospitalized & finally agreed to take Lithium. He has been good ever since. His father died of addiction, he released. It's just me now. My ptsd & depression r overwhelming, to say the least. Sometimes, it feels too much to bear. But I need to stay here & b well for my son. He lives with his gf of 9 years. He has a great job & he follows the steps he needs to. Getting enough sleep. Therapy. Exercise, sunshine, etc. We talk twice a day. We're very close. However, the worry never ends. I started watching GH when Jason returned. Just in time for Ava to mess with yr 'Sonny's' medication. Actually, Valentine. I am again disappointed, triggered & appalled GH production is running this ridiculous story line again. GH handled HIV/Aids, alcoholism, brain damage & breast cancer, & recently ALS so responsibly. Why is bipolar disorder being dealt with in such an irresponsible manner. All I can think of is someone possibly my sons fiancée going to mess with his medication? She too is a nurse. However, she has a drinking problem. I guess my son is repeating what he learned at home. How to enable. I know GH won't kill u off, but my disappointment is palpable. Can we please show bipolar disorder for what it actually is? A condition not a lable that a person can live a full life with. Medication & controlling what a person can medication, exercise, not isolating, sleeping, eating well & not drinking or doing any other drugs can let people leave a full life. I don't blame u this time. I blame the writers. GH feels like home to me. Watching it reminds me of my mom & sisters all sitting around the TV after school watching Luke & Laura get married. I remember every storyline. My parents have passed away. I have aged over have a century. GH has lost Tyler & Billy to mental illness. Please can we handle it better. U & Steve were brilliant today. Inspiring. I admire u so much. I root for u Maurice as a person. Like Steve said, u have kept your whole life together. It isn't easy, I know. But Ty. GH still feels like home to me. I wish the writers could read this. Stay well, Maurice 🙏

They are talented enough for the big screen. I think it was meant to be. Staying on the smaller screen of daytime has allowed them to reach so many more people. Decade after decade. Always talk to Jesus when you feel you can't go on, I talk to him all day long, it's a constant chatter and I have to assume he hits his forehead and says, oh no..,it's Betty again! BUT it gets me through the pain, the uncertainty if I can do something etc. It is my strength. I'm 74 and have mobility issues so just walking across the room is challenging but Jesus walks with me and I don't fall. It's a small thing but to me it's major. You guys are still young...but you still need Jesus to walk with you every day. Talk to him...out loud...not a formal prayer, just conversation. It works!

Mr. Benard, Ive been rocking with you all since 2003. You all have gotten me through some hard times and I’m a huge fan!! I would love to see Rick Hearst as a guest one day. Please keep the material coming and take care!

This was an exceptional cast. Up to now my favorite has been the first one with Laura Wright and now this may be a nose ahead. Steve Burton is so authentic and left me with a little bit more wisdom then I came in with. It was actually my favorite of Maurice's interviews because as he said he let Steve talk w/o interrupting. I haven't watched in a while, I don't know why, but I am looking forward to Part 2 with Steve. Thank you both.
