Gage played game 2 about as bad as he possibly could have. That hand was, bare minimum, Firewall co-linked to two Knightmares, but he chose to waste Tempest on adding a fucking White Stone instead. Didn't really matter, he got cooked by the gameciel if he chose to actually play, but wow

@@cameraredeye3115 burner pitch tempest for blaster, normal ophrys pitch lightning for cobra, cobra add dimension fusion. Overlay for Dante, mill 3, ideally he would hit something good here but let's imagine he hits 3 spells. Tempest banish the babies to summon, overlay tempest+blaster for galaxy tomahawk in the EMZ. Activate effect, summon 4 tokens. Tomahawk + a token for Greatfly, Dante + a token for Knightmare Cerberus, Greatfly + the last two tokens for Firewall co-linked to Cerberus. Activate Dimension Fusion, bring back the banished babies, link them off for Knightmare Phoenix co-linked to Firewall. (Realistically, it's probably better to hold the dimension fusion for next turn in this situation, but this is the furthest you can go if you get absolutely nothing off the Dante mills) If he had hit any dragon or fire off Dante he could've gone way further, lonefire especially.

It isnt even a strict floodgate it just restricts your plays. You should have plenty of ways to out it in archetype with gage's deck and he could have outed it if he had another ruler summon. Vortex was way more oppressive last episode.

An awful episode. Throwing for content sucks, but skill draining for a win sucks too. Also, building the whole deck around a single copy of dimension fusion was probably a wrong call. His Pendulum deck is way better.
