It's like Benedict in Much Ado About Nothing: at one point when he hears of someone liking him he counts it as a mark against her having sense. "Wise, but for loving me - by my troth, it is no addition to her wit" :D I think it's something INFPs struggle with - anyone who could be foolish enough to love them must be lacking in common sense, and is therefore a disappointment as well. More so if they were the object of the INFP's affection/crush in kind. Then they topple from the pedestal very quickly and its almost offensive that someone you thought so highly of could make such a poor decision! We're a peculiar breed.

I can actually explain this. Thing is, when you get the results for the test, you'll notice that all four catergories are on a spectrum, e.g. introvert 76% extrovert 24%. This shows that whilst you can't technically be two types, you can have a certain personality but give off vibes of another similar one. For example you'd probably assume I'm an INTP because of my approach to you're comment, but I'm actually actually an INFP; but I got like a 42% thinker and 58% feeler so I have a *heavy* sense of INTP.

I can actually explain this. When you get the test back, you'll notice all 4 catergories are on a spectrum, e.g. introvert 91% extrovert 9%. So this shows that you can be one personality e.g. ENFJ but be extremely similar to ENTJ because your thinking-to-feeling ratio was close *(e.g. thinker 54% feeler 46%)* for example you'd probably assume I'm an INTP because of the way I responded to you're comment but I'm actually an INFP with a strong sense of INTP because the thinking-to-feeling ratio was close. So many of these are just so freaking true except i never really got the whole "feelers are idiots". I'm an enfp and I'm super smart (that's sounds so prideful I'm so sorry). I graduated top of my class, have literally never gotten a B as a final grade, i correct peoples grammar all the time, i use big words no one else can understand, i am amazing at debates, and even within my friends (we're all honors kids and huge nerds), I'm the one people come to for help. Yes, I'm an enfp and I'm a huge procrastinator, I can never focus and my brain does not process what it finds disinteresting at all, but I'm not stupid.

As an xNTP I feel like this is scarily accurate. I sometimes wish I could trap my classmates in a death game and see the look on their faces when they fight to the death. The best part is, after being released, seeing the winner live in guilt and desparation that tries to end their own life but is too cowardies to do it or tries to end their own life but somehow miraculously survived, living their life miserably with some kind of disability, preventing them from dying. Still, then somehow they met the one person that could cheer them on (maybe a kind-hearted nurse or something) as they fell in love. That is until a day they realised that it was all a fake (probably NTR or something even worst) they fell in desperation again, as I came and showed that the short little happy time that they experience was created by none other than the one who put them in that condition in there first place. He/She got so shocked that he/she literally stopped his/her heart from beating (for a few minutes) as the doctor rushed in and gave treatment. After a few shocks, he/she was alive again. As with hollowed eyes, he/she asked me: "I can't live, yet I can't die, what do you want with me ?" and then I answered, "I used to hate you, but now that I have already forgotten the reason, so I guessed entertainment ?" as I walk away. He/she lived a very long life of (100+age) in a semi vegetable state, but not really, as he/she can still understand stuff but cannot perceive life.
