There's only two Amtraks per day on this line, so it makes sense that Dovetail didn't spend time on it. One in and one out Lake Shore Limited (Boston to Chicago) uses this line.

Two additional things I want to include (I already know i added so much lol): The MBB single level cars have door controls for some reason, despite them being disabled and instead operated by a handle both IRL and in boston sprinter The Bi-Level door closing chime has a lot of echo for some reason

I live in Worcester and bought this the day it came out. For the most part, they got things pretty well (and btw, the reason the outside gets brighter when going through a dark tunnel is that they seem to be using camera exposure. If you were using a real camera, to make the exposure correct inside a tunnel, it would mean that the bright outside would be overexposed. I think this is actually a nice touch on their part). But I'm very disappointed in the lack of freight service. This is also a CSX mainline, at least for a large part of the route, but if you want to be able to play any freight service, you have to buy a whole stack of DLC. I already have some of the CSX related DLC and thought I would be able to use at least some of that, but nope, you have to have it all to get anything. There are also a few visual oddities. Some of the trackside buildings, for example the New Balance building, are extremely well done and accurate, while some major landmarks are either not even close or missing altogether. I wold think something like the Prudential Center and tower would be more accurate than the New Balance building, and there is no sign at all of the Kennedy tower, which is one of the main things you would see coming into Boston. Then you get weird things like driving at 30 mph beside the turnpike while cars are going slower than the train. So, overall, I think it's pretty well done, but the total lack of freight along with the large DLC purchase you need to make to get any would have me rate this at maybe 2.5 out of 5

7:05 Notice anything odd? They got the numbers wrong for the CTC-3 and BTC-3 single level cars! Cab cars are supposed to be 15XX not 18XX Coaches are supposed to be 5XX not 8XX

2:50 This has been an issue for me since TSW2. They model the light based off of footage and pictures from cab rides, but that’s based off of a camera and not real life and therefore not how humans actually see. It’s completely wrong and I wish they would fix it.

7:25 Not a geometry train, just a flatbed extra. Geometry trains on the MBTA usually are a normal consist with the addition of a track testing car (usually a heavilly modified metroliner/amfleet cab car).

3:30 the new PIDs are not realistic, just a copy of LIRR and Antelope Valley ones. However some of our stations do use the same design as the antelope valley so i'm not complaining about reusing antelope valley PIDS

The prime mover could be better but the real problem is the HEP Generator, the real things have a loud, powerful sound to them, in game you can barely hear them

I still don't understand why they didn't make the comet coaches for single level cars. They are more common than the single level coaches they are using in game. When I asked, they just ignored me.

When they Said the freight routes you need for the route, do you need ALL of them for playable services? They kind of Said it that way

You do not need all of the freight routes. They said because of some of the freight cars are different companies like Norfolk southern (horshoe curve) bnsf (cajon pass) and Union Pacific (Sherman hill). The only freight dlc you need is sand patch grade to actually operate freight services

@@paisley237 this is not true. I thought I had heard the same, but I have sand patch and sherman hill and still have no freight service. When I contacted support, they said you need to have a whole list of DLC in order to have freight operations, including DLC that has nothig to do with this area, like some Santa Fe locomotive add on. Without all of them, you get none =( This is from the website "These additional services are playable, but all of the Add-ons listed below are required to unlock them: Sand Patch Grade BNSF SD70ACe loco Add-on Sherman Hill Horseshoe Curve Cajon Pass"

Why didn't you not talk about passengers that are STILL glued onto their seats and looks like they don't have the intention to NEVER leaving the train whether it's their stop or not or at the end of a service or not or whether it's depot moves or not, You arrive at a station open the doors, people get off and on the train, you arrive at your last station, everyone gets off the train, your doing depot moves the whole train should be empty but guess what???.
