The A stands for Assertive, and the T stands for Turbulent. They come at the end of an MBTI type, though it gets separated from it with a hyphen. You don't have to use these, but they come with the 16 Personalities test. For example: ENTP-A, INFP-T etc. Turbulent means the need for acceptance from someone, like you're self conscious and insecure. And Assertive means needing no acceptance whatsoever, like confident. I'm not very good at explaining stuff, so I hope it helps.
