I think my favorite is opponents scooping the moment you have resolve any card effect. I’ve had games plural where I went like: Scheiren effect, chain ash, I called by, hit nothing off Sheiren, about to pass, opponent scoops. I think I had a double digit number of people forfeit after Charge of the Light Brigade resolves, while I’m looking at my options thinking “nothing I add gets me to any sort of combo”

0:33 the card Anchamoufrite is perfect for this. It gives you a draw and tribute material. As long as you aren’t playing an extra, like with your build, he is always online. Plus he is a Rare which is nice!

​@kingmatthewlego It's a pretty good card. It's a free plus one, but it collides with pot of duality, gozen, rivalry and does nothing if you have no tribute summonable monsters. Going first it's great but going second, not so much. I would rather draw a true Draco trap/spell to tribute when going 2nd. I have been enjoying stormforth a little bit more, besides breaking boards, it's also great going first if you manage to set up one of the TD traps to play in your opponent's main phase.

It's really upsetting how much of a bad rep true draco gets because it synergizes with floodgates. In terms of archetype cards only, it's by far one of the most unique and interesting decks that that game has ever produced, and it's extremely interactive and has a lot of dynamics revolving around negative feedback loops (the GY effects of the spell/traps don't even work on turn 1 for good value, and all of their 1 tribute summons require your opponent to do something before you can get value off of them, meaning you cannot just generate a bunch of card advantage on turn 1 before your opponent gets to play the game), let alone the odd and unique way it breaks boards and gets into a grind game. It just sucks that konami has printed all of these "You don't get to play the game" floodgates that the deck happens to synergize well with. @0:22 The floodgates are the lame part, true draco is actually really cool (honestly I wish they'd get some modern support so they could actually be playable, and tbh it wouldn't have to be a ton of support).

They don't just so happen to synergize with floodgates, they were designed with them in mind. But the problem is, as usual, with the floodgates themselves. You can kinda see how the MD approach of limiting everything to 1 forces people to rely on crappier floodgates like Lose 1 Turn, but sometimes Skill Drain, Summon Limit, or the Gozen/Rivalry/TCBOO triple threat are just exodia, even if you only get 1 copy of them. At least Anti-Spell Fragrance is suboptimal in this deck, and it kinda gives you an excuse to play spicy stuff like Apophis or Crackdown.

I always play around the Ultimate Nightmare, and it’s not that me or players are worried about outing Ultimate Nightmare, it’s just the prospect of losing to a Yubel Deck with Ultimate Nightmare is too horrifying to imagine. I once lost to a deck playing not 1, not 2, but 3 ULTIMATE NIGHTMARE and haven’t mentally recovered since. I didn’t even see them, I bricked too hard to, but the damage was too much.

The trap trigger in grave is mandatory cl1 in that scenario and targets monsters only, he had to target the field with MP to prevent the summon effect. Good play if it was heritage or disciples instead

I really hope this video trends so that people get tricked that master peace actually accomplishes anything. During the first few days of the banlist i encountered nothing but master peace/dragoon turbo decks and i gotta say i got the most wins ever during that period. Props to konami they know that these "boss monsters" can't do sht in the current meta. Also those were the perfect opponents to showcase this deck. Like a yubel deck playing mst and compulse is prolly the best tier 0 deck to ever exist.

@@LizEllwood Maybe, but just pointing out there can be additional downsides to lazy throwing maxx away. Also at the end of the day it's a potential link material, chump block vs stun or something, and both monarchs and td (and heck, even floo under very rare circumstances) have potential special summons to use it on. It's good for players to learn why to hold it regardless and just toggle off lol.
