For anyone wondering, he didn’t give Amorphage Gluttony a proper description. His scale effect is Skill Drain, Soul Drain, and Mind Drain all at the same time. It is devastating against most decks

@@yugijak Amorphage Gluttony prevents the activations of any non-Amorphage effects. So it doesn't negate non-Amorphage effects, it just prevents them from being used at all anywhere ever. So no hand traps, banished effs, etc. Since it does not negate effects, passive/continuous monster effects that do not activate still apply (ex: cannot be destroyed by battle).

The Musket Punks Deck deserves its own Ten Minute Testing; it's like the best Deck I've seen that DOESN'T use the Ishizu Cards, AT ALL OR uses a FTK. Just swap 1 of the I:Ps with Accesscode and this deck would be set!

I really enjoy this series because Joseph actually has to play the decks, so we get to see games with some fun nonmeta strategies instead of a magical christmas land meme deck that's more a spectacle than a yugioh deck (at least most of the time). I also really appreciate the descriptions for what the decks are actually trying to accomplish.

I literally made the Vernusylph Amorphage deck right when the guest Vernusylphs were out. The deck can have Mechanical Hound to negate all of your opponent's spells, the one Barbaros can be a Pankratops that pops two on ignition, and Wanghu can be the sole normal. Keep in mind that deck was in Spright format with Mine legal.

Not sure what they were going for with that Amorphage-Vernusylph build. Amorphages cannot make use of the Ishizu cards most of the time since they are pendulums. They can, however, make use of Odd-Eyes Revolution Dragon to either search out any Amorphage monster you want, OR act as a 12 scale so you can actually pendulum summon Goliath. You can also make use of Pendulum Switch (continuous trap) to special summon Amorphages from the pendulum zones, and/or put them into the pendulum zones to avoid having to to pay their tribute cost(s) or have an Amorphage pendulum effect active at specific times. Can be searched by Duelist Alliance as well. Skullcrobat, Sky Iris, and Odd-Eyes Phantasma Dragon also make great additions to search Odd-Eyes cards you want, a scale of 0, and to beat over tougher high ATK/DEF monsters (which Amorphages struggle with). Sky Iris can also trigger Amorphage Infection to search out any Amorphage monster you want while also boosting their ATK/DEF on your field. This keeps your resources up and gets you the floodgate effects you want consistently when you add everything up.

The non meme version of vaylantz is actually nuts though. Infinite s/t negates, 3-4 monster negates abyss dweller IP into underworld or unicorn and even without s/t negates you cant get hit with evenly or imperm because you leave them with a field spell. Solo activation is nuts. Also most people dont read them so they hand trap very incorrectly lol.

I feel as though they're pretty bricky, most notably the Field Spells and Senet Switch (+ the Handtraps'n'Boardbreakers take up important hand space too), Imperm also is pretty effective against them.

@@Element_Doom i run 46 and rarely brick, but if i do it is usually because i didnt draw enough low level names. Ive bricked off of the fields literally once in well over 100 games. But imperm is only good if the opponent set it. Its a dead card if you went first.

My favourite jank deck to play on EDO is bishbalken reptile where instead of ftk you use reptiliannes to add five and then draw five, ending on a lock with zer’oll, planet pollutant virus, and m-frame to lock the opponent after going plus 15 Feels good man

I love magical miscets. In theory you can make your opponent 5 tokens white Rose Garden or Bishbalkan and draw 5. In practice you brick on 4 muskets and a trap....

Actually u can shuffle the trap with saryuja and search it right back after. In the same way u only need 1 musket monster so u can shuffle back the others.

Someone finally played vaylantz besides me. Haven't tried the cyberstien build. I honestly only started playing it because I got back into the game after a idk 8 year break, bought a box of tactical masters and had the core. It's fun to play, but honestly can get flood gated super easy. It's also a complete ass match up against ishizu-tear, most anti tear plays just don't work well in it.

On omega you can play ocg format or tcg format. The cards with ocg on them are programmed to work with the ocg rules. But sloth is wierd because I'm pretty sure there isn't a difference from ocg to tcg.
