Oh hello there! this is a not-as-short-as-I-would've-liked tutorial into the depths of editing single drum sounds. I use the reference manual and give an overview over the parameters that you can change Editing in Filmora Wondershare

This tutorial series is what this machine needed desperately. Very good work! Thanks

This was a great tutorial and really demonstrates that there is essentially a drum synthesizer for each of the 16 pads on a track for multiple tracks with this machine.

Hello, thanks for this and your other recent videos. I've been digging into the deeper parameters of the 707 myself lately, lots of time spent cross referencing manuals, poking around with trial and error, so its very nice to get the perspective of someone like yourself doing similar things. There are definitely parameters here that you have explained more succinctly than the manual, which I find to be well written at times and very challenging at others. Very nice work, cheers.

Thank you, yes making these videos help me understand the machine better. And I agree, the manual is quite good oftentimes. I have never really been a manual reader, but the 707 turned me into one :)

Is it actually possible to adjust the EQ for each pad separately?
@ToddMakesMusic2 ай бұрын
Yes, you can.and in good detail, too, at least on a drum track. You press SHIFT+PAD when on a clip, then you are in the drum-pad view. Press ENTER with the pad you want to edit being selected, then you are in the DRUM INST MENU, go to Pad EDIT and you can activate the EQ of that pad! All the best, Todd

Is there no 606 in this model? The 606 is my favorite sound set.
@ToddMakesMusic4 ай бұрын
Hi! There are 2 TR606 kits on the MC 707 in Bank A and 3 more in Bank B. And then individual instruments (e.g. Kick, HihHat) are available for creating your own drumkit from different instruments, e.g. kick from 606, Snare from 808 and so on. There is a sound list available at Roland.com that lists every sound/instrument there is on the machine. It's 57 pages long, though :D
