I saw him in concert once. I want to say it was in 1990 in Fayetteville, N.C. I had on a orange pantsuit with balloned pants and a kofi hat (forgive me if I spelled kofi wrong). He put on one hell of a show. I never forgot it.

+Beauty byQ G you guys are entitled to your opinion about Michael Jackson but you're crazy if you think that Michael didn't do his own choreography, one of the best vocalist ever not even including what he did with the Jackson 5! thriller sold over 50 million copies nobody has gotten close to that nobody!
@denisenoles31598 жыл бұрын
+Mawuli Ware You are talking about record sales and vocals. That is not the issue here. MJ is one of the greatest entertainers ever but he did not do all of his choreography.

If you was a dancer, MC Hammer had everyone dancing like him, wearing the those pants like Hammer! Plus Hammer changes the game because he made millions & was the first rapper to do that! However, we want the first to dance! Part of Hip-Hop was dancing & Hammer took it to another level!

This was his best. He was ahead of his time back then. Out of all the rappers back then his concerts were the most entertaining by far. I swear back in the late 80's when I saw him in concert it looked like he had 100 people on the stage.

Hammer has revolutionized Hip Hop. He brought a creative flavor to it. And this what hip hop back then was all about, being different than others. Today, no one is being creative and that's unfortunate. Everybody sounds the same, kicking the same lyrics, and making the same videos. We have 30 beyonces , 24 Neos, and about 49 souldier boy :( Love you Hammer and thank you for your contribution.

Hammers rise to the top was so much FUN to watch, especially from the start to this point. I stayed a fan but liked him most with the original crew 2BIG M.C.; 357; HIS BROTHER; DJ MOLE MIXER. With his small crew he lit up the stage, when he got bigger it became the hottest show in the world only M.J. could follow. Rappers & so-called r&b singers 2day better be glad it ended b4 their time. He SOLD OUT ALRIGHT...ARENAS, NEVER BRAGGED ON HIS RICHES DOING IT...UH UH UH OH OH! UH UH UH OH OH!

I loved this video! They should've put this version on his album! MC Hammer was the shit back then b4 everybody started hating on him 4 his endorsements and 10million album sales! You either mimicked his dances, wore the baggy pants, or got that "3 line-fade cut!" This was shot in my hometown of Detroit, MI at Joe Louis Arena! Great concert! Since we all know what happened to Hammer AFTER the fame, I wonder what people like 2 Big MC and Angie B are doing today?

Hammer kept it simple and fun for all folks to hear what he was saying in regards to his lyrics but, his act was hard to follow and no rapper or group can say that no matter how nice they were. Concerts are the real way to get bread as an entertainer and he did just that very thing. His music gets you amped and you feel good. God Bless Brother.

Most rappers today can't dance a lick, they just know how to rap, they walk around the stage moving their arms back and forth, jumbering around like some kind of anaimal. M. C. Hammer isd the best rapper of all time, a worthy successor to the greatest entertianer of all time, James Brown.

I use to perform these songs as tributes to Hammer in highschool back in the 90's i still think Hammer was just to cold thats why so many people use to hate on him ! But i had his back i saw him in concert twice i even challenged his crew and got to meet them it was great the best time of my life ! I was 17 yrs. old in little old Peoria ILLinois at Manual High school ! Could nobody dance like him and his moves were difficult to master but i did my best ! I was known as the mexican Hammer ! ; )

No doubt. Being born in 64 (baby boomer) and having seen in concert James Brown in 71, the Jackson 5 every year they came to the ATL from 71-74, Prince when I was stationed in SC in 1984 and Hammer when I was stationed in Vegas and in my prime (age 24) in 89. When he said you cant touch this. To this day, no one has. Yes I listen to the new stuff!!
