MC Lyte is a straight up GOAT! We all know she's a "female" rapper, but honestly, when you hear the name "MC Lyte", her being female isn't considered, and doesn't even matter. She was always as good and as hard as any male, or female, rapper could ever be! Like you said young brother, she is "EASILY" one of the top five (female) rappers, and likely one of the top twenty rappers of all time. Only a fool wouldn't give her the props she deserves as being one of the pioneers of Hip-Hop music and culture. Missy Elliot is another who is one of the GOATS. Even Missy knew to pay homage to the likes of Lyte, when she made that song with Timbaland and Magoo, "Cop That Disk".
