it took me many years of saving to get my first Mcintosh nearly 30 years ago. When there’s a will, there’s a way. 😆

MIke, great video! Thanks for sharing as I always enjoy hearing about your current gear. Quick question on the Sony HAP-Z1ES.. Will any other external cd-burners work with the HAPZ1? There seems to be some speedier options out there and not sure if it would be worth while to check those out over the Apple SuperDrive. Some other slim drive options also have Blueray ripping capabilities. Curious on your thoughts.

Really nice equipment you have there Mile. I bet all the pre amps and speakers cost a lot of money. So let me ask you a question mike. If you connect a gaming console on a television, which amp will go well with let say a nintendo switch? Which amp is suitable for a condominium apartment? Tell me what connector I need to plug the headphone to the amp and plug the amp to the tv. Thanks.

A very nice review. Does this amp draw alot of power from the wall outlet, at normal listening levels?

How different is the sound of mc1502 vs solid state mac power amp you have?

Nice. I've got only 1x MC275 50th Anniversary and kinda regret never a matching 2nd MC275 50th.

I had one Mc275 as well but the standard edition. I regret selling it. You should look for reissued Mc75 mono-block. that’s a great amp.

Which tubes impact the sound more the signal tubes or the power tubes? I'm using an MC 901 right now and I'm tempted to change out some tubes

GREAT set up. however. i'm still not convinced that Cables make a big difference in the sound quality. i saw an awesome video comparing Copper to Silver cables. the % conductivity of Silver is 105 Vs the Copper is 100. as you know. the price difference between Silver cable and copper cable is HUGE. yet i don't think %5 is worth paying so much more $$$$$ for them. IMO.

Nice review. I've had this amp on order going on 5 months now. Funny, but I also bought the same Monoprice amp stand for my 1502 as well. I've been a bit concerned about how hot the amp runs. Can you comment on that?
@HiFiInsider2 жыл бұрын
it’s not very hot. i ran it for more than 8 hrs and it was less hot than my Cary Audio CAD805 anniversary amps.
