Nice unboxing and review. It would have been a bit more in depth if you had mentioned the brand of speaker you listened through and also the preamp. From the video set I assume it was the C22 that is shown. A good portion of the sonic picture is also provided by the preamp. Next time around you should mention that. The MC 1502 is a beauty. Thanks for sharing it with us.

I had a chance to stop by and listen to this amp yesterday, and I sounded great. And while I've never heard a bridged MC275 to compare it to, this amp sounds exceptionally dynamic and holographic. It has the qualities of both SS and tube designs. I have a PS Audio BHK Signature 250 that I love, but this 1502 has got me thinking about going all tube again. Great gear!

Great point on the ineffectiveness of sound demos. So glad you do not waste our time with them. I wish more folks in this space would emphasize the importance of actually auditioning the equipment in person. Outstanding job on the overview.

Thanks so much for the feedback! We feel for those who simply can't hear the gear in person, but we don't think KZbin demos are the way to solve that. This is why we try to be generous with returns for those who don't have the ability to demo ahead of time.

How do you set tube bias for 8 kt88’s? Cost of replacing all tubes?

That is very true! That can make it pretty hard to demo some gear before buying it. One way we try to combat that is by offering a no-pressure in home trial period.

Think all who apload way way higher end amps are doing wrong? You just record this amp, rhen listen to video and dint like it, and tell us the story about mp3 and other stuff)))
