Met Mike once , he took the time to really sit and talk. Corresponded with him a little , before the DTK/MC5 project took off. Super nice guy. No bullshit about him.

I saw Destroy All Monsters at Crest-Lounge in Hamtramck..must have been 1977 or so.they were loud!! funny enough, I met Mike Davis when we were both living in Tucson, AZ. back in 1988, he was a gentleman..nice guy- was still playing bass- we almost hooked up a band together ( no-lie ) but he thought I was too flash-heavy metal at the time ( which I was ) so, he joined up with 2 guys I knew- guitarists- walter white and Cameron Wesly ( from sure-shot productions) they had a short lived band called- The False Idols…of course I went to thier gig at Mudbugs in Tucson. just a bit of my personal rock and roll history. Met Rob Tyner once at the Detroit Zoo, he was a nice guy also-we talked a bit, I wish these guys heavenly peace- R.I.P. might aswell add this- I also met Wayne Kramer shortly after his prison release at Nikki's lounge on E. 6 Mile rd. he was kinda a wise-guy, had a bit of a I just got outta prison chip on his shoulder… maybe I better start a MC-5 Tribue band?
