I always had huge respect for Jordan as an artist. Wonderful to see him again, and looking and sounding so good at 60.

"Caretaker" and Prince of Persia were personal favorites back in the day. Jordan's a bonafide legend.

Read Jordan's memoires on the development of Karateka and Prince of Persia several times. He's definitely a special person and appreciate a lot the dedication and passion he puts into all his work.

Thanks for arranging this interview Matt. Prince is way too hard for my pathertic skills, but Karateka on the Apple II is actually quite easy and fun.

Fantastic conversation! I had waited to watch this until I had sampled a bit of Digital Eclipse’s “Making of Karateka.” Jordan is such a fully actualized writer with the many different forms of media in which he has created works. One thought on a tangential topic in the conversation: I’ve noticed a divide in reactions to “Return of the Jedi” between those such as Jordan and myself who were teenagers at the time (and had a less favorable opinion of it) and kids whose ages were in the single digits when seeing it (who frequently name this as their favorite Star Wars film). I think much of Episode Six was directed at younger viewers compared to the other OT movies.

It's quite obvious to me that KZbin has put matt in the "lower areas of youtube" Whatever you release, your subs are locked at 22-24k for these past like 15 years. Even if Jesus of Dungeons and dragons was interviewed here the "views" would probably be the same.
