July 2020 kit... installed all the springs and the new sear spring. No more 7 pound trigger pull. Now have a 3-4 pound pull. Love it. TIP: when you watch the newer video to replace the sear spring, you do not need to remove the extractor and sear... the sear spring installs easily leaving those alone. The sear spring just falls into place resting on the sear and extractor allowing you to get it to seat in the "slot" on the back of the handle. It's easily done, just watch the newer video where he is taking out the sear spring, and when he is installing the new one... you'll see what I'm talking about being easier.

Great video. I ordered a set for both my Micro 9, and Micro 380 a couple of days ago. Got them in my mailbox in about three days (over a weekend). I installed both kits this afternoon. The 380 taking about 20 mins, the 9mm about 10 once I'd learned how. The trigger pull reduction is impressive. Thanks.

My Micro 9 went from a 7.5 to 5.3 and then after 40 rounds tested again at 4.6. Accuracy MUCH improved .

Just installed the kit. Factory trigger was 7.5 lb now about 4. big improvement would recommend this kit. Please keep us informed when the new recoil spring becomes available.

Something I didn’t notice when I watched this on the big screen...your firing pin well is filthy. I’m imagining the extractor channel is as well. Great missed opportunity to clean them up. I let an extractor channel get so dirty that it impeded the cycling. After cleaning out the coal mine my pistol felt like a new gun. Never put a dirty part back dirty!

What you should offer is an ambi safety. It is only offered on the Raptor series. It is a ridiculously priced factory installed option now

Love it! Took my pull from a fat 6 pounds to about 3.3 pounds. ...and the total install takes about 10 minutes. This should be OEM with the Micro 9.

I believe firing pin spring, and others are under pressure (compression) not tension.

Apr. 2021, The Micro 9 is reminiscent of the old Colt 380 Mustang. (Which its self was a copy of the older Star .380 series.) It, in this iteration, is a fantastic pocket pistol. To many aficionados the 6+1 capacity is an issue, but in a non-war social encounter fewer shots are fired. 1- Be mentally prepared. 2-Don't use cheap equipment. 3-Use cover. 4-Never shoot to disarm or warn. *Everyone, please support MCarbo. Forgive my ignorance, Does this affect the force that is exerted by the hammer? One concern I have is that if the firing pin is slightly covered by lint or other possible debris a lighter hammer will not be able to put enough force on the firing pin. Am I wrong to have this fear.

Does the lighter hammer spring result in frame battering over time? I’ve already installed everything and it all works great but the very light hammer concerns me. I also had to cut the firing pin spring by a few coils due to light strikes and I purchased a stronger recoil spring from Galloway precision to mitigate stress on the frame when firing. Combining all of this with a crusader straight trigger turned my micro 9 into a great shooter and it’s reliable!! The only thing that still concerns me is frame wear.

I just installed the spring kit on my new Micro 9. You left out a few steps in this video. You don't show removing the left side grip and removing the safety, hammer, seer, and flat spring. You also fail to mention having to adjust the flat spring after you've installed it which entails disassembly to get the spring back out and the reassembling the pistol. The video that's referenced on the receipt is complete.

Your camera was giving me a headache. Was that a Kodak Coolpix from the 90's? I think it looks like a good option for my Micro and would certainly be interested in a slightly stiffer recoil spring. But please just written instructions, no video.

Hey you Mcarbo, why are you promoting this kit to users and jeopardizing the safety by altering the true nature of a single action firearm? People are listening to your ad, and shame on them for following this thru without even considering the reason behind a trigger pull being around 6 to 7 lbs in a SAO gun. There is nothing wrong with my kimber having the original trigger kit as per mfg specs ok? So stop it
