Hey Liah, great series, is working well to prepare me for the OAT. One gripe: could you keep a constant distance from the microphone? You keep getting louder and softer all of a sudden. Again, very good videos

+Guy de Fauxpassant yeah... alas KZbin won't let me edit a video once it's been published. Hopefully you still got the gist of the video

yup! your videos are interesting! (i think youtube allows you to put a box to cover it and write the correct word, something like that)

what make an amino acid to become achirral
@Leah4sciMCAT10 ай бұрын
Chiral amino acids will have 4 unique substituents. Glycine does not have an R group, instead it just has H giving it a total of 2 H atoms on the alpha carbon. I discuss chirality more detail here: leah4sci.com/chirality
@sohnaahmed64558 жыл бұрын
also, you state that glycine is chiral when it's actually achiral...
@timoritofau7 жыл бұрын
She says its ACHIRAL
@judykangas44952 жыл бұрын
Bruh she said it’s achiral 5 times. I’m not getting the joke here
@Leah4sciMCAT Жыл бұрын
Glycine is the only achiral amino acid due to having H as its side chain
