Hello, these are great! Just had a quick question: For the example question at 9 minutes and 40 seconds, how come the charge (Q) changes from the initial charge, when I thought in the example question before that, you stated that dielectric materials do not affect charge. Does it have something to do with the second problem having a battery?

In this problem, the capacitor is connected to a battery, which keeps the voltage constant at 4 volts. When the dielectric is added, the capacitance increases because a dielectric enhances the ability of the capacitor to store charge. Since the voltage is fixed by the battery, the capacitor stores more charge to balance the increased capacitance. This is why the charge changes in this scenario-it happens because the battery maintains the same voltage while the capacitance increases due to the dielectric.
