@@Dannysubliminal I seen the whole video but they are both just saying that because they can't get a job. If someone offered them 500k a year to manage Barnsley they snatch their hand off. I'm just surprised a club hasn't taken John. Jason I can understand.

@@gravyboat2370 it's been twenty years since John last managed, I'm sure he's had offers as for Jason, it's been what, seven years? I'm sure he's had offers as well, there's always back room staff coaches, scouting etc, neither of them have done that. I think it's safe to say, that won't manage again.

@@Dannysubliminal well yes I agree with that. But over the last 20 years I'm surprised why John hasn't got another managers job. Maybe he hasn't wanted it or maybe nobody fancied him but I don't care what they say on this video if they got a good offer with transfer budget they wouldn't say no.

That was quite good but Les Parry's budget is even less to what Barnes had, the fact is Mcateer and Barnes should never have got involved in management they're not good enough.

Typical McAteer excuse after excuse about the finances. Half the teams in league one have no money jason! At the end of the day Barnes and McAteer were clueless. 3-0 5-0 4-0 losses every week said it all

commented 10 years ago but i'll add now. Barnes accused the club of racism..the same people who hired him, sacked him. his record was shocking, he was hired because he was John Barnes , not his colour and when he went , our physio , Les Parry took over and kept us up...for 3 years.. he left management and now works sports science for Man Utd. My point being, Banes was a legend of a player, terrible management wise everywhere he's been and it's his bollocks of using racism as a reason for his own failure that contributes to black people not getting jobs. why hire someone who if they fail, blame racism? who needs that?? he's a disgrace.. possibly the worst manager Tranmere have had and McAteer is just an idiot
