This song means so much to me. FYI Steven, when Matt & James sing most parts, it is because it's a Busted Song and when Danny & Tom sing most parts it's because it's a McFly Song. I think it's also special, that 5 of 6 members are singing together. I mean, where do you get that except from boybands? Also I am so happy for James. After the split of Busted, he thought he would never be able to perform this song again in front of people and McBusted made it all possible again. They talk about this in the behind the scenes DVD of the McBusted tour. Anyway... thank you sooo much for doing all of these. Would love to give more than one like! Subscribed to your patreon at least. Why is nobody requesting 3 AM? I know, everyone has their own fave songs, but 3 Am sung by the 5 of them is incredible.

The best band alive for me, they are true musicians. Yes! Keep the Busted/Mcfly/McBusted reactions coming! Have you seen the film Just My Luck by any chance? Stars Lindsey Lohan and Mcfly as themselves, do a few songs as well. Would highly recommend if you haven’t seen! Also James Bourne, who has the perfect pop punk voice, was in a band after Busted called Son of Dork, which also ended up being a Broadway musical! I would recommend the song Eddie’s Song, full on pop punk! 🖤

One of the things I like most from Steven's McFly/McBusted videos, is that I feel he could listen to the most disliked McFly album (Above the Noise) and even if he didn't like it, he'd still appreciate what they were trying to do with it.

Not for nothing, I Need a Woman (Danny's vocals!!!) and Nowhere Left to Run are top tier McFly songs. I totally understand why that poor album gets a bad rap, especially after Radio:Active, but I'm also a cheesy girl who grew up with 90s boy bands/pop, so I have been known to dance my heart out to Party Girl hahahahaha

@@fishalish90 I Need a Woman is definitely Top 10 for me! Nowhere Left to Run, Woman, and That's the Truth is a fantastic stretch of songs on there. I can do without Foolish and This Song and Take Me There (but even those last 2 have Danny bits that I love). I also don't really care for Shine a Light's album version, which is somehow going to make it on every setlist for the rest of forever, so I guess I picked the wrong horse to back from that album lol I played Above the Noise in my car stereo recently enough that I can't be mad at it for being what it is haha

If you're ever going to react to their albums, this is kind of a legend of what they sound like: Busted: * Busted: Sounds pop punk, but more along the lines of Avril Lavigne's "Complicated" or Hilary Duff's "So Yesterday", so more acoustic guitars and stuff. * A Present for Everyone: Even more pop punk than "Busted", so with more emphasis on the electric guitars, drums and bass. * Night Driver: Synthpop. Very much unlike any of their other three albums. * Half Way There: A return to their pop punk roots, but since they're older and stuff, it's a bit harder in its sound. McFly: * Room on the Third Floor: Surfpop. Think Beach Boys etc. * Wonderland: Kind of cookie alternative pop. It has a lot of acoustic guitar and a lot of symphonic arrangements. * Motion in the Ocean: Very much pop rock. You can definitely (besides their cover of Don't Stop Me Now) tell that the Queen influence is real here. I personally think this is a more polished, pop version of Queen basically. * Radio:Active: Pop punk, but way harder than anything else either of these bands have ever done. * Above the Noise: Pop, but with an electronic and a rock twist. They're still a band so of course, sometimes the electric guitar comes out or something, but this one is by far their most pop album. * The Lost Songs: While I know many fans love this album, I'm personally not a big fan. It's a collection of unreleased material and to me, that shows. Which is why, to me, this feels like a random compilation of songs rather than an actual cohesive album. * Young Dumb Thrills: Pop rock meets pop punk. There are songs on here where I'm like "Ah that's Twenty One Pilots" (Young Dumb Thrills, Another Song about Love) and then there's songs that I'm like "Ah that's the Beatles" (Tonight is the Night, Not the End) and then there's song that I'm like "Ah that's Blink182" (Growing Up, Head Up). McBusted: * McBusted: I think this one is similar in its sound to Half Way There. Also filled with less serious songs, which is fun, but then again, neither of these bands have had albums where everything is serious haha Other Projects: * Son of Dork - Welcome to Loserville: Son of Dork was James Bourne's (Busted) other band right after Busted split. This was pop punk as much as it can be lol. * Future Boy - Volume 1: Another project by James Bourne. This was electro pop and was quite a departure from Busted's and Son of Dork's sounds. * Matt Willis - Don't Let It Go To Waste: Pop rock, with more of a focus on the pop, but still with harder basses and electric guitars than pop rock usually has. Matt Willis' (Busted) solo album after Busted's split. * Fightstar - multiple albums, EP's, etc.: Charlie Simpson's (Busted) band after Busted split. This is hard rock, almost metal, their official genre according to wikipedia is post-hardcore. They also have some really cool stuff. * Danny Jones - EP: Acoustic pop. It also has some less acoustic stuff, but generally speaking, I'd still say it's more like folkpop or something along those lines. * Dougie has been involved with other bands, including A and INK besides McFly and McBusted, but he hasn't released music with them.

I feel like I’m watching Steven slowly fall in love with Tom Fletcher the more these McFly/McBusted reactions go on and it’s the most adorable thing. Hey Steven, love your stuff. Love that you cover (and love) McFly/busted. As a long time fan of them (from the UK) it’s awesome to see someone from the US enjoy them. I can tell you have a big music love of all genres. With this you need check out Fightstar it’s Charlie from Busted’s band (he left busted for them) they are Deftones meets Funeral for a friend. Super heavy but super melodic.

You should react to Busted singing Year 3000 with the Jonas Brothers, at the Capital’s Summertime Ball 2019. Year 3000 is a Busted song, but they sold it to Disney so the Jonas Brothers could record it, like 2008 or something like that. And the song got super famous in the UK because of Busted, and in the USA because of the Jonas Brothers, and they finally sang it together. It's a very energetic and fun performance.

It was sold to Columbia which Jonas brothers were signed to & they had it on their first album It's About Time in 06 (also had what I go to school for) and then got dropped after their first album & they got signed to Hollywood Recs/Disney & decided even though it was already on that other album they'll play it on Disney & then they put it on their second album self titled 07 😂 always found it weird they had it on 2 albums but guess Disney promoted it harder I met James during mcbusted times asking how he felt about it & he wasn't a fan but he was like I signed the songs away they could use them how ever they wanted even though I didn't like how they did it. But guess he's kinda changed his mind or maybe grown from it.

Honestly James Bourne is, in my opinion, one of the greatest singer/songwriters of our generation. It was so amazing that McBusted and the following Busted reunion that he is once again getting the recognition he deserves. ‘What happened to your band’ is one of my favourite songs and it was written over a decade ago, and slipped under the radar, being added to the McBusted track list and the Half Way There album has brought it to peoples attention
