Yes, this ECA is same as the ECA from WES that anyone needs to submit but for Doctors ECA must need get from MCC for immigration application and licence examinations, not from WES. Have you already applied? Thank you.

The mcc website says that the SVR service is available during the pandemic, but they also say that their building is closed, so how do they process the documents? I’m asking to know if I should send the documents via mail these days or not ?

As the MCC website says SVR service available that means they are open but may be restricted for other persons. What I know, they are accepting mail. The best suggestion that I can give you is to call their customer service to get the confirmation. You can also email them through your Physiciansapply.ca account. Thank you.

If you verify just Medical degree, you can sit for the MCCQE1, however, I would also recommend to verify transcript, as sometimes, few universities also want verified transcript during the residency application.

Well, if you want to verify your transcript and postgraduate training, of course, you can send those as well, but those are not mandatory. Things are changing everyday, specially nowadays, I would suggest, to see the website for details.

Thank you so much for the question. No, you do not need to appear for the exam. you can switch your profession completely or take admission in other allied healthcare fields, it is completely up to you.

What is medical transcript?

It is a document that you will get at the end of your course in addition to graduation certification mentioning your score or grade, clinical rotations and some more information about you. Do not worry, your medical school will automatically provide those to you.

How to send our degree, means literally we have to send our degree or just captured the pic of our degree and then send them through email.

Well, before candidates had to send the photocopies of medical degree, however, nowadays due to the COVID, they are asking for both emailing the scan copies and mailing hard copies later on. You will be guided during the application. Please DO NOT send any original certificates.

Hello. I saw a KZbin video saying that the first requirement in order to practise in Canada as a doctor is you have to have PR. But that requirement is if I plan to do residency in Canada. However, I already finished residency here in the Philippines and I have no PR. Can I still practise in Canada as a doctor?

Yes, you are right. For residency training you must gave a PR status, otherwise you can't apply. Few provinces might give you a work permit, if you follow a Practice ready assessment pathway. However, it is not that easy to get.

Thanks for the comment. What I know, MCC evaluates only credential for the specialist physician and family physician. I am not sure about that. I think It could be WES. Thanks for your nice video about ECA. But I am confused about Graduation date and Diploma date, woud you please clear it. In Banladesh MBBS degree is 5 years. I admited in January 2007 and passed in january 2012. so academic starting date may be 01/01/2007 and ending date may be 31/12/2011 or 01/01/2012 . What will be correct?

Thank you for the comment. I think you should ask your medical school about this because they have the official document about that and whatever you will write, MCC will send those to your medical school for verification. So confirm with your school. Graduation and diploma date is always a confusion for us. What I know, Graduation date is when you pass the exam, I mean the result date and Diploma date is what is written on your certificate. School official can also clear those confusion. Hey man my situation is the following: i graduated med school in summer 2019 then came to germany to learn the language and been trying to pass their board exams to secure work until now with no success. I dont have work experience because of this and i have my sister in canada and im considering this route. As a french speaker, you really have a good chance to get into the system in Quebec as Quebec is a French-speaking province. Many positions remain vacant for the IMGs as most of the IMGs cannot speak french. This is definitely a good route, again nothing is certain until you get it.

It is better to verify your speciality certificate. But If you want to apply for PR, you have to apply through specialist category though I am sure about any NOC of Physiologist. or Just for exam, you can avoid, if you want.

Medical Identification Number for Canada (MINC), a unique identifier assigned to all individuals entering the Canadian medical education or practice system and this no is mainly for Regulatory Authorities to identify Physicians. Once you create account, MINC should generate automatically or if not then when you will apply for exams. But initially you need Candidate code. Hope it helps. Thanks.

Hello, Verification from WES or ICAS will help you to get admit in college or University in Canada depending on institute requirement but for immigration as primary applicant or licence exam, you must do it from MCC. You can also check the website of CIC.

Hello. Verification of your degree is a must, I did not verify transcript and I am not sure if they added transcript as a requirement as well for the immigration. If you are in doubt, I would suggest to do both.

If you want to pursue a Microbiologist, you want to appear in the licensing exam and PR application, then MCC is the only option, But if you want to get admitted to a college or university, then WES. It should be the graduation date. If you want to verify your MD degree, then past graduation. That is completely my opinion. For more clarification, contact MCC.
