How interestingly he narrated the story of West Indian fast bowlers. Yeah, he is right. Batsmen were petrified of them. Imagine Viv Richard playing against such quality bowling without wearing a helmet. He was right, test cricket is real test for players, but l think cricket should be more entertaining. Sometimes l think what is test cricket you go and see all day long. And, you have to go again very next day for whole day. You continue keep going for five days that is incredible. Only those who have nothing to do go and watch test matches. On the other hand, if we talk about other sports, we go and come back with in 3 to 4 hours. Asian folks have a bunch of time to enjoy test cricket all day long.🤗

If you allow me to comment.Being a person who studied degrees in physics and engineering, I would like to say frankly that it is impossible to calculate the speed of a moving body perfectly if you could not capture a frame at the point of release, with the usual cameras. Rest all are approximations of truths; nothing is perfect while only an approximation of truth is possible. Videos recorded at a film speed of 23 frames/sec can allow u to measure up to 156.5217km/hr.depend more on mathematics and physics to find release speed by taking the event at which ball after pitching traveled almost 90yards in air, according to wisden records. You can prove it, if u record speedometers in car simultaneously and the speed gun results.

I disagree with the great Imran Khan. One the main reasons they did not dive in those days is that they wore cotton shirts which would get sweaty and tear & boots that were so heavy, - pure leather with iron studs the size of ball bearings stuck to the sole. Then they were ankle shoes You can't imagine to skid in those shoes. You also needed to conserve strength for batting & bowling. The bats & pads were heavier. There were no physios either You get injured, you were taken to the nearest hospital. Its not just technology, the kits have changed too. We have sweat repelling microfiber clothing, light cricket boots all help in diving and sliding, ultra light pads that help running between the wickets, better bats (Kashmir willow) :-) --) I see cricket turning like the NBA in the future, where eventually each team will play close to 82 twenty-twenty matches in a single season.
