I'm looking at the 2-8 spots and there are so many seemingly great players, I can't choose... and ka-bam! Sennecke top 3! If this guy is top 5, this will out-do your "Wright outside the top-3" prediction! If it helps a (healthy) Lindstrom slip to us, I'm all for it!

Totally agree, this is why I let the real pro scouts do their work instead. I am sure Montreal will still pick the right guy...eventhough I did not like the Reinbacher pick last year over Michkov or Leonard. They know hockey a lot more than me for sure !!!

there is a progression with such things some fans spew what they hear verbatim other fans listen to what many say .then come up with their own. still other fans go see the games and follow every play . some other fans watch video and listen to pundits and go to games . a few fans say reinbacker not michkov . fewer fans say draft primeau. no fans say ducharme is bad during a cup run .or before he was hired . most fans dont like other fans being right,neither do the scouts . : i think the habs should draft yakemchuck or parekh.nobody told me that . how about dem apples ? gohabsgo you are ruining our fun .because you are afraid to try . imo

My Dream (aside Habs winning the 1st pick & taking Celebrini or Habs winning the 2nd pick & taking Demidov) is : Habs taking Sennecke with their pick. Them getting another Top-15 pick (10-15) and getting Liam Greentree and them getting Yegor Surin with their 2nd rounder

I was also told by numerous social media scouts that: "Top 3 for Sanderson is crazy", "Slaf first overall is crazy", "Heiskanen ahead of Patrick is crazy"...I could go on and on. What's crazy, in reality, is the number of people who resolutely rank a draft class before May. It happens every year, and folks don't learn from it.

Isn't Sennecke projected as like the 25th best prospect in 2024? ....Jason Spezza was a top tier player in the NHL for several years. Drafted 2nd overall and had 5 30+ goal seasons at a time when scoring was down. If that is Sennecke's max out comp, then top 3 isn't crazy, but wow, what a lofty comp!

Keep in mind… Sennecke was 5’8 not even 2years ago. He had a MASSIVE Growth Spurt. It takes time to adjust to that for a hockey player. Learn to grow into your own body. Learn to get back your coordination & everything. His production started slow this season, but it improved drastically in the 2nd half of the season and he was AMAZING in the playoffs

habs should trade winnipegs 1sts and next year's 1sts to get 2 more top 15 picks. so we can draft 3 high end forwards to fill up our cupboard on forward prospects. Iginla, Lindstrom, catton, eiserman, Connolly, sennecke....3 of these 6 in our pool would be amazing

I am not sure that just by having good playoffs can make Sennecke jumping all the way to top 5 at the draft. Indeed, Sennecke only got 68 points including 27 goals in 63 games of the regular season. Barely one point per game in junior...it sounds more like a 15th to 20th pick to me. Anyhow, I am sure that the scouts which have been following him all year must know his real value !!!
