Hi Vivian, thanks for sharing your McCall's pattern haul with us.😊 The jacket on the costume pattern is called a Spencer. I agree with you about the pattern with the shorts of view A , looks like a skort ( a skirt in the front, shorts in the back) It would be cute . Happy sewing! 🩷
