Encouraging to not change names is in itself a Revolution bcz no other religion (manifestly) does that. And having declaration with Sheikh like Hamza in itself is a great going ahead.

SubhanAllah how well I can relate with you, seeing grey hair on our sheikhs after our parents are the second most painful thing. May Allah swt preserve them, and grant us the ability to honour them in the best way

Amazing, always so beautiful to see this. With that said: The "shahadah" is not this long, for christians there is maybe the addition of mentioning Jesus and his mother Maryam/Mary, after saying you belive in Allah and his final messenger Muhammad, but then i just kind of went on :-)

It wouldnt matter, she would be counted among the muslims on the day of judgement inshallahutallah, deeds are by intentions like the messenger said, what we only confirm with our tongue is formality

I don’t think you need to rush things on the ceremony. Allah is ever watching. If you intends to submit to Him, He will be your best protecter from the Satan.

In my opinion, this advice is more appropriate for muslims who neglect or likes to procrastinate the calling of 5 daily prayers to meet our Creator.
