I played for twenty years, defence and offence are all on at the same time, in the old days you're play 40 minutes a half non stop. You run and tackle for 40 minutes non stop for two halves. It looks the same but it's totally different. American footballers wouldn't last 5 minutes in the NRL, It's to hard and to fast and no pads!!!
