McCormick Alfredo Sauce Mix: Easy Homemade Version

McCormick Alfredo Sauce Mix Copycat
INGREDIENTS
• 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
• 1 cup dry milk powder
• 1/2 cup cornstarch
• 1 tbsp garlic powder
• 1 tsp onion powder
• 2 tsp salt
• 1/2 tsp fresh ground black pepper
PREPARATION STEPS
1. Whisk all ingredients together until well incorporated.
2. Store in an airtight jar in refrigerator for up to 3 months.
3. To Use: In a sauce pan, whisk together 1 cup of cold milk, 1/2 cup of mix and 2 oz cream cheese (optional). Turn heat on medium and heat until smooth and thickened, stirring constantly.

Thanks for this recipe. I never buy jar Alfredo Sauce, to me it tastes plasticy. I refuse to buy the packets as I can't justify the price! I had to tweek this one for my taste by reducing the garlic and omitting the added salt. We find parmesan provides enough salt. With the tweaks for our tastes, it is the easiest tastiest quick Alfredo Sauce I've made. Love this. I threw in diced bacon tonight and had it with cheese and spinach tortellini. Delish. Once again thanks for this recipe. 😋😋😋😋😋
