They do let people go inside the cars and pop hoods since they're for sale. Some sellers wait by their cars or put a sign with their phone numbers to talk to prospective buyers and show the car themselves.

1:23:15 A family relative of mine used to own such a BMW in black-green, with black trim and original wheels. It's a reliable car, but still wouldn't recommend owning one outside of Europe.
