There is also a vid on 14s. That xr5 also handles it well. I'm really looking into one after a saw this vid. It's the best big scale in my opinion. Very well built and a beast with this engine. Maybe it's because the lsd diffs? Chassis layout looks alot like a 1/8 truggy. Very great car

Driftomaniacs hi mate. Yes it’s a beast of an engine in there. Still need to work on the setup. Getting too hot so I need to hole the body up some more for better air flow. There is a 2 speed “snap” gearing set I am hoping to get to fit to it. If so it’s going to be bonkers! It’s quick enough 😆👍👍

Wow, I must say that a 47cc motor in an RC this small is crazy powerful & fast considering the 1/5 Baja Buggy I have is only 29cc & is MUCH larger & therefor a lot heavier & it runs pretty fast with a fair amount of power so this rally car is crazy quick!

I think what you and your viewers really need for this Beast, is a first person view driving experience (FPV) . MOD it with the just released DJI FPV System.. You do not need the controller part, just the HD camera components.

That rig would look sweet with some KM2/KO2 replica tires and some proper bead-lock rims on it. They would handle alot better on the pavement as well. I would tend to think running knob-tires like those on the road would wear them out rather quickly.

Shame its only rwd but can be more fun if you know how to handle it :) I would put some net to the cuts of the body to avoid bigger stuff getting inside. You can pick up some alloy stuff from hallfords for a £ or two. Good luck with it nice car bro! :)

RC Maxx UK Mate is there no better way of cooling the engine, rather than having the entire windscreen cut out ? I'm a novice when it comes to petrol rc cars, but I've owned dozens of Nitro ones, mainly 1/8 Nitro Buggies, and as you will know, keeping the engine running at optimum temp is critical for performance, never mind to prevent over heating and a blown engine! lol. I just imagine that the huge open windscreen is gonna act like a big parachute and create terrible drag, and slow the car down ? I would have thought that these really large expensive cars/engines would have some kind of independent air or even water cooling system ? Or would the extra weight cancel out the gains in aerodynamic efficiency ? Amazing vid btw! That car is ace! Wes, Liverpool, UK
