I knew you’d like the MCD there’s a lot of tech in it and you did an amazing job on the paint job. Amazing. I would like to tell your brother Jeff check the set screws on the torsion bar or stabilizer links. It’s the only problem I had was the set screws backed out.
@eastsiderc6 ай бұрын
Brother Tom thank you for the compliment and I will certainly check the set screws!! Thats the only thing I have not put a driver on yet! The whole car so far has been extremely tight. And Locktightened and not with blue either they used a quality semipermanent loctite that I also use.

You did an absolutely amazing job on the painting son. Very creative on how you did the design. I know it was very tedious. It’s beautiful.

Yeah you’re right! The two-tone looks sick. More purple on one side and that yellow stripe that separates the white goes diagonally! Great paint scheme. Also, great choice on the wheels there my man. The fact that they are wider and come out like that makes the truck looks meaner-like it’s ready to tear shit up. Hey question, i noticed for the diff and the braces you upgraded why did you opt for the model without those upgrades? Just curious
@eastsiderc6 ай бұрын
Awesome Luis Im real happy you like it. And yes the BRPs are my favorite too. Now to answer your question, I wanted the lighter version with less alloy. And this was the ARTR version it came with quality servos and a very nice engine, normally its the piston port but your know me Luis I gotta take it a step up. And I told Mike to leave all the parts off so I could build the car. I did not get many options just what I feel makes it a bit tougher thats all. I like to make my drive trains as rigid as possible especially right off the engine. Thanks for watching broham. Im still texting everyone 🤣trying to wrench! 🔧

These showcars are beautiful, but won't last a day at my local race track. That's always the unfortunate problem, when you get on the track the old beater body is the one you'll run. One huge advantage of Baja's- no body to destroy!
@eastsiderc4 ай бұрын
Haha for real man. i’ve never raced before, but if I did, I definitely wouldn’t race these bodies. I would just get another body and paint it up the same way that way I could have two one to run and one to just beat around in the yard with they are definitely going to get some scratches and scuffs racing, I still scuffed them up a little bit when they flip over it’s inevitable. The ones I run anyways I have about 10 Fifth scales that I just built to look at and change parts on from time to time just part of the hobby. I love they are my models. Hope you have a great weekend Bro thanks for watching.
