McDonald Creek Provincial Park

We start with a drive through the town of Nakusp, BC and it's downtown core then south following the shore of Upper Arrow Lake tp McDonal Creek Provincial Park.

I had a laugh when you mentioned bugs in the summer. My uncle bought a property along the lake/river near the southern cable ferry you spoke of and invited all the extended fam to come and camp during the summer. I was swimming on a daily basis with all my cousins, so not well covered up. I was bitten all over for 3 solid days by no-see-ums to the extent that I became feverish to the point of hallucinating. So, word of caution: if you’re by the water, Deep Woods Off is your bestest buddy in the whole world.
