My hubby is a manager at McDonald's and he describes the Fish & Chips box as being a poutine box. Lol As for the best before dates, McDonald's is almost OCD level about expiry dates. Even the glass cleaner spray bottles get a 2 day expiry sticker so you don't fill up as much or replace the expiry sticker every 2 days lol Heather xo

Not sure if you knew, but fish and chips aren't new on the McDonald's menu in Atlantic Canada. It is offered here off and on as a limited menu option. I reviewed it last July. At that time though, it was approx $5 something. Guess they upped the price cause they were releasing it nationally? Love the french toast sandwich, think maybe you and Paul just got a bad batch. Awesome to see Paul doing so well and luv him, he's hilarious!! Hope you and the fam are good and great vid!! 😃😎

I've never tried it, but the fact is almost everything at McDonald's is way fresher than almost everything at Tim Horton's. That disgusting "French Toast" was probably created months ago in a factory 1000 km away and that gross egg product poured from a carton or mixed from a powder. At least the fish was clearly fish.

As a resident of Plymouth, an English city right on the harbour, I’m appalled by this 😂 My favourite chip shop, Harbourside, does the best I’ve ever had. This ‘fish’ looks like McDonald’s chicken selects! If for any reason you’re ever in my little city, I’ll treat you! x

Ken I've followed you for a few years now and I love your videos but I think you're overusing plastic. I know that McDonalds and other food chains give plastic straws, knives and forks for food as well as plastic covers for hot drinks but, with your frequent consumption of these items, you're generating a lot of non-recyclable waste. This is just an idea, but you could carry your own reusable straw and cutlery or even cup for coffee to reduce the plastic usage.

To be fair, it's not processed. It's an entire cut of fish. Hence why it's pricey and limited time. Mcdonalds here in Canada has much higher standards than the US because we have stricter laws. The lobster roll is also real lobster from P.E.I but also pricey and a limited time and seasonal thing.
