Peter Saleh, BTIG managing director, restaurants, says McDonald's value messaging won't "turn the tide anytime soon." He speaks with Katie Greifeld on Bloomberg Television. McDonald's growth in comparable sales was 1.9%, slower than analysts polled by Bloomberg anticipated.

@@Gus_Magnus Because printing was a mistake, the fed cannot control inflation much at all, but especially not inflation that isn't wage driven. The fed dropped the ball, now we all pay the price - stagflation seems likely.

Thankfully McDonald's in Singapore is still at around $5 or $7 (SGD) for a meal.
