Idk why, but for me, the meat looks so good when it’s being processed. Now knowing the fact that it IS being processed (in spite of what they say on camera) that kinda questions me, why does America, and other countries of the world, enjoy processed food, instead of getting up off the couch, and cooking fresh food? This video is so satisfying, yet it makes me feel #guilty.

They don't use any chemical perservatives either. Salt is a natural perservative - so anything with salt has "perservatives" if you're being pedantic. That being said, they don't over-salt their food to keep it fresh. It has normal levels of salt, which aren't dangerous or problematic.
I don't if people know, but frozen beef can last very long without spoilage. No need to waste money on adding extra stuff.

Around the late 70"s, (78-79) McD's was asked what was in the quarter pounder meat. This was brought on by someone accusing them of using worms as a filler. McD's answered by saying the cost of worms was obviously too high. They further explained that the filler was seaweed, mixed at a ratio of 90/10 meat/kelp. This is why the Big Mack was the only burger they advertised as all beef. Now i see signs saying "all beef" in some McD's. My question, when did they convert to all beef, and did they use the seaweed as I once heard? Big Mack T-shirts used to read: twoallbeefpattiesspecialsaucelettucecheesepicklesonionsonasesameseedbun. (two-all-beef-patties-special-sauce-lettuce-cheese-pickles-onions-on a sesame seed bun)
