there are like 5 buttons. the serve button(s) get rid of the order from the screen, the Next button skips to the order next in queue, the Recall button puts the orders that were served, on the screen (usually used to see if you missed anything) the side off and side on buttons mean you can disable your monitors' ability to accept orders, and I've never known what the blue buttons do.

I have a question how the kitchen board works at McDonald's. At Burger King we have to sides on our board. One side is the main board for burgers only, that side makes the Whopper, Bacon Kings, burgers, and such. The other side is the specialty board which makes the chicken sandwiches, fishes, drops things in the fryers, etc. I notice McDonald's also has two sides, but it looks as though the two sides are both making the same thing, both are making burgers and chicken.
