Yeah, I never eat fast food, but a year or so back I was baby sitting my best friend's kids & they wanted to eat there so I took them and I couldn't help but think about how different things are-not just in the way things look but the people don't seem to enjoy their jobs as much as we did! :P

I'd just bought the camcorder, so there were times I'd come in off the clock to film, and when I was working, I'd film before or after work, or else during breaks.

@eyeswideopen82 Yeah, that's definitely true, though even back then, I realized ours was a special place and probably most other McDonalds didn't have so many great people at once- it wasn't quite as good when I started and then I ended up leaving because some of the best people were leaving or being pushed out. I've found that most any job anywhere tends to treat its employees like dirt and it's hard to find coworkers that you truly enjoy being with!

wrong, In 1998 i started in mc donalds at 16 - for 3 years me and all my friends today met there. 8 are married there are 8 kids and we all remain best friends to this day. i think most were like this. I am currently writing a cartoon series and sit com based on our experience.

I worked for a taco place like that for about six months, years ago. Our little crew was tight there for a little bit, and it was fun. A fond memory was belly laughing so hard trying to describe a crazy dream I had to them. We were all in tears, as I slowly spat it out, and they reacted.🤣 (The dream took place in the women's bathroom....too weird to describe here in detail😄.) The vibe all depends on managers and crew. What's funny is I don't remember leaving or how I left/gave notice.

I do have some tapes that have stuff like Monte and Debbie's wedding- they both worked there & many of those at the wedding were from the store. Plus there was a store meeting with everyone at Christmas time- the vid is very long and not a lot going on but it's neat to have everyone in it!

Oh! The big guy near the very end- that the camera refused to focus on- was the one who was cleaning the vents one night before closing. He put is foot on the lid to one of the friers and it fell into the 400 degree oil, filling his shoe!!! It burned his heel down to the bone!!!!!! :o

Yeah! I'm so glad I wasn't in charge that night as I hate just seeing someone get stuck with a needle on doctor shows on t.v.! I think I'd have called 9-1-1 and made sure he was taken care of, with the adrenaline going through me, but afterwards I'd have probably been vomiting and had a hard time sleeping for days! :o
