I’m a first time mum to my nearly 6 month old son, I am 22 soon 23. He was a happy surprise at the time and in a way I feel lucky that I didn’t experience the anticipating wait of expecting my period each month. I can totally vouch for the change that happens between a couples dynamic when your family grows. Don’t get me wrong, it’s wonderful and I am so grateful to be able to have been pregnant, experienced labour and become a mum. However, i feel it is important to anticipate the changes that may come such as losing that time for you and your partner especially in the first 3 months I found. Life becomes chaotic and also fun filled. I wish you the best and hope to follow your journey. (Ps, when I came off contraception it took 2 years for my cycle to become somewhat of a norm). I love this channel, best of luck X

Oh honestly there is soooo much adrenaline running when you’re giving birth plus the pains not going to last forever and it is so worth it! And you can look into hypnobirthing , water births.. water helps with contraction pains, or an epidural. All good to look into when or if you’re at that stage. ❤️ love you both so much! Strange you don’t even know me and I feel like you’re my best friends! Also when you’re going through it it’s completely different like I think if and when it happens and James feels baby kick in your belly it’s honestly amazing and he would love it. It's more uncomfortable than painful. ok it hurts abit but its different because you know your doing it to receive your child. The moment the baby flops on your chest you'll cry and the pains instantly gone and all worth it. The memories are just wonderful and you won't experience nothing like it it's the most wonderful thing you will ever experience. So special precious and overwhelming pure love.

Awww I think you will make lovely parents. I’m 27 weeks pregnant and it’s a rollercoaster 🤪 the first 2 months I hated and used to cry to my fiancé saying “enjoy this while you can, we’re never having another” whereas once the sickness goes it’s so enjoyable!! Yours and James opinion on birth was exactly mine and my husbands. We had our first child in April and childbirth was my favorite part of pregnancy!! My husband was terrified to see me in pain and hates hospitals/needles. He ended up doing great.. and thank goodness since we weren’t able to have anyone else there due to the pandemic.

About the smile, dang that's me to a tee! I've always said I'm in love with my fiance's teeth. His lower canines are slightly pushes to the front, just like my dads. Which might have something to do with why I love it so much? And I melt for my boy's cute big smile. It's been almost six years and I don't think it'll ever change. I remember the times before I fell for him, thinking he always smiled so big, and it was a bit weird. I can't imagine thinking that now! It's so weird how love changes everything.

James I know you read these comments! As a mother of two... Trust me your worrying about the wrong thing. Birth is fine, the first year is great! Its when they reach 3-4 years you need to be terrified. Our little womb demons turn us batshit crazy at this stage. And to carys- your right! Labour and birth is the most magical feeling in the world. When I fell pregnant with my first child my mam put it to me straight and told me how painful it was. So I kept telling myself that all the way through. Don't get me wrong it was painful but I was able to handle it because I prepped myself by reminding myself of that. Trust me though when you hold your baby in your arms for the first time everything fits completely... Pain fades away and your left with this little tiny human who you would literally give your life for. And no other feeling ever compares to it. Loved this video and can't wait till yous have a family! Good luck you two ❤️❤️❤️❤️🤞
