I've had a breast reduction. I went from an H to a D cup and I would do it again. It's been 9 years since I had the operation and you can still see some of the scars and they are quite ugly in some places but I think that that is different for everyone. It is quite a big operation especially because of the muscles underneath and the total length of the scar is about a metre long. But after the healing process I was able to move around more and have less weight to carry with me and I lost about 10 kg by exercising and feeling good about myself. Even though they recommend to loose as much weight as you can before the operation so that it would look better. I've learned to accept the scars and love them as they are😁 And I love how positive you always are, you are a true inspiration and whenever you tell us that we are good enough and to love your body I try to let it in and listen. Love you guys❤

You guys seem to really suit life in France. I haven't seen you this high energy and seeming to truly live for yourselves and your desires. You appear to be living and enjoying your life in the present moment, rather than planning for the next thing, making changes to the house or always looking for different experiences. Seeing you guys just enjoying life right now is refreshing and I am loving the content😊

I’m a nurse in a cosmetic surgery clinic and don’t be scared of having a reduction the risks are really rare. Just do your research on surgeons and the aftercare. A lot of patients say they feel so much happier and lighter after reduction :) but yeah I would recommend to wait till after finishing having children :) x

I had a breast reduction last August. I was 23 years old, I have no kids, I am about 5’1, 145lbs and was a size 36F; which was huge on my smaller frame. I am now a size 34C. I asked for more of a lift because I still wanted boobs but didn’t need the extra size. It was the BEST decision I ever made.. constant back pain and neck pain were GONE. The healing (for me) was great! I took a couple weeks off the gym but even my workouts were better without all the weight on my chest. Picking out clothes became easier and I do not feel like I am constantly falling out of my tops. Plus, they’re cute and perky now! Good luck and love from Canada 🇨🇦

Overactive thyroids are horrible. I was diagnosed ten years ago after battling with the doctors to give me a blood test. It kept being passed off as a virus. I felt absolutely horrendous and lost 1.5 stone in 8 days. I had every symptom but they were ignoring me. Eventually I lost sight in my left eye for a few minutes alongside an excruciating headache. Finally they gave me a blood test (after a month!!) and it came be with an overactive thyroid. My levels were quadruple the normal range, one of the levels I didn't have any produced in my body and should have. My resting heart rate was 168bpm. After 3 years of not being able to get it under control, I had a total thyroidectomy and have never felt better.

Loved this video - your laughter is contagious! I had breast reduction in Jan 2021 - went from a 32HH to a 34E. It was my first ever operation so I was pretty scared. I also had a complication during it which meant the blood wasn't draining from one breast properly and had to go back into the operating theatre (all while not having loved ones around me due to COVID restrictions). Regardless, it was one of the BEST choices I have ever made. I would go through everything again if I had to, my quality of life is so much better now. I was also lucky with scarring - they healed so well and you can barely notice the scars one year on ❤️

Do the scars ever get itchy or irritating?
@nawallevelsup2 жыл бұрын
@@Alyssa_May Yes during the healing process the scars do get very itchy, but after about 3 months (everyone's timeline is different) it will be a lot less noticeable. Once fully healed the scars don't itch/irritate :)

i had a breast reduction 4 years ago and would 100% recommend! it has given me so much more confidence, i ended up with more of a lift as my surgeon had other ideas and didn't take as much as i wanted it (i filmed a story time if anyone is interested ahah) but even so i'd take my new boobs over my old ones any day! i don't notice the scars at all although they probably are quite noticeable for someone looking directly at them, i can only see them in the mirror! my only advice would to be as clear as you can about exactly what you want them to look like :)

Hi Guys. Been watching you since just before Ambers birth. We are from the uk but been living in Perth Western Australia for 9yrs, we have three children 10,13 and 15 now but when we moved here they were 6,4 and 18 months, it’s crazy how fast life goes by. I miss those baby days 😢 Enjoy Amber being ickle, it really does go by so fast as soon as they go to school. Anyway Carys have you ever thought your eczema flare ups might be to do with being allergic to certain food groups? I used to get flare ups under my eyes, on my neck, around my mouth and arms. Yes the appearance was so hard but it was the burning sensation and itching and actual pain that was so hard to take. then I spoke with someone who gave up gluten for the exact same thing, I thought why not do a three month trial giving up everything with gluten in and see, well let’s just say 7yrs later I haven’t gone back and I’ve never had one day with a burning sensation or eczema anywhere. Give it a go for a week I noticed within a couple of days that that horrible sore feeling was gone and yes hard to give up at first but when you have clear skin and no pain it keeps you going. I’m still eating cardboard pizzas 😂 Goodluck Go on try it 😊 Love from Charlotte in WA ❤

Boob reduction about 24 years ago, my scars are not good, but since found I keyliod scar. I was huge, I thought I was 38GG but my bra snapped under the weight of them whilst I was with the consultant who said no you are MUCH bigger than that. I had alot of back pain and despite the scars dont regret it. But they can grow back. I reduced to a B cup but I'm now a D cup. I would say I think my nipples are about 1/4 inch to high. As the boobs grew the nipples are above the natural boob weight so sit on top sort of.

I had a breast reduction at 22yrs - went from a 32FF to a 32B and it was the best decision I ever made. Had my daughter last year and I was able to breast feed with absolutely no issues at all! Still to this day even after a bit of boob-droop from breast feeding, I just love them and love the Chang wit has made to my upper body strength and posture and pain! So worth it!

I’ve had so many people tell me I should/ask me if I would get a boob reduction since I was in Year 9 even though I’ve never had any crazy health implications it’s just annoying to shop for and they get so shocked when I say I want to wait till after having kids to even consider it. I just don’t want to risk not having the opportunity to breastfeed and I’m also nervous about the recovery so it’s just never been worth it for me (even though everyone tells me I need to)

PLEASE READ THIS (Breast reduction info)!!!! I recently had a breast reduction two months ago and I don’t have kids and will not be able to breast feed becaus I had free nipple grafts (they remove the nipple from the breast and put it back on in a different spot) however there is another option that they can leave the nipples on the breast and u would still be able to breast feed. I chose not to do the second option because I wanted to be the smallest size possible for my body. For reference I was a US 34L and now I am a US 34DD but I’m still swollen. It has been the BEST decision I’ve ever made. Immediately after my surgery all my back, shoulder and neck pain was gone and although recovery has been long and painful it was sooooooo worth it. But as far as the surgery itself that part wasn’t bad at all it took 4 hours for me and I was in consistent pain for about 4 weeks but I was able to stop pain meds after 1 week. I’m now 8 weeks post op and still have mild soreness to the touch but I’m absolutely in love with my results. I cannot recommend this surgery enough it’s so life changing and I’m able to be much more active in my life now and I can buy cheaper bras or not need a to wear a bra at all if I want. Hope this helps!!!❤️❤️❤️❤️

I work as a recovery nurse in a cosmetic surgery hospital and the best advice I can give is be very very thorough when choosing your surgeon. None of our patients are sore when they wake up after surgery as they have nerve blocks to numb the whole chest area for 24 hours after surgery. Yes deffo wait until your family is complete. Feel free to message if you have any questions I can answer. X
