Thank you for sharing us this useful content I have a question how can I stimulate pulsatile blood flow in comsol And what should I enter as a inlet velocity and pressure and outlet pressure?

Hey, nice video. :) I wrote my PhD thesis on renal artery simulations. I used AnSYS, but now because of a postdoctoral stipend i continue my research in Comsol, that's why i found your video. I came for help but maybe i could help you instead... The level of modeling is too high here. Recommendations: - you should use a turbulence model, as low Re doesn't necessarily mean laminar flow. (use realizable k-epsilon with some proper wall treatment) - use transient simulation with a pulsative flow - include the branching and a part of the aorta to get the proper velocity distribution and turbulent kinetic energy in the renal artery. The stenosis happens close to the branching most of the times anyway. (highly affected by turbulence!) By the way, if you insist on modeling the renal artery like that, you could use an axisymmetric model, it significantly reduces computation time even with an insanely fine mesh. Although, i recommend not to model it like that, include the branching as i mentioned earlier.

Can you tell me that what are the materials used in it?

Hello, thank you so much for this amazing video. I have tried it myself and it works! I would like to ask, if you don't mind, can you share the literature citation you have used for this project? Thank you so much, your video is very helpful in my field of research.
