My family also has photos from around '89-'90 of us in home made California Raisins costumes, made of the outer layer of old worn out bean bag chairs in yellow, orange and brown. My mother, brother and I practiced and performed a dance routine to 'Heard it Through the Grapevine' which we sang along to while our friend who taught us piano played it. It's one of my favorite memories. 34 years later the memory of how hot and smelly it was inside those huge vinyl bags has faded and left the joy of amateur performance in tact. Also, Griffin, as Travis said, how dare you dictate for what reasons we enjoy you! 😂
